Formed in Birmingham, Alabama, Erra pushes a more technical, textured approach. Led by guitarist-composer Jesse Cash and singer J.T. Cavey, the group builds intricate guitar work and fluid melodic lines over rhythmic patterns that keep shifting without losing clarity. From Impulse and Augment to the self-titled Erra and Cure, the set traces a path where dense riffing, airy passages and clean-scream interplay sit side by side.
Opening the evening, Leeds outfit Caskets leans into a melodic metalcore and post-hardcore blend. Guided by Matt Flood’s clear vocals, their songs hook on big choruses and polished arrangements, between punchy guitars and subtle synths, drawing on Lost Souls and Reflections to set the tone.
