On 11 November 2026 at SWG3 Glasgow, Igorrr brings his shape-shifting project to the stage, where breakcore cuts into extreme metal, baroque motifs slip between industrial electronics, and operatic voices answer distorted growls. Launched by French composer Gautier Serre in the mid-2000s, Igorrr has shifted from solo studio work to a full live setup, built on contrasts rather than smooth blends. Expect jagged rhythmic edits against harpsichord-like lines, blast beats locked to glitchy textures, and sudden swerves from intricate chamber passages to dense walls of sound. Across albums like Nostril, Hallelujah, Savage Sinusoid and Spirituality and Distortion, this writing has tightened and expanded, and on stage it lands with precision, volatility and a sense of constant motion.
Sharing the bill, Shining (SE) formed in Sweden in 1996 and channel a depressive black and doom metal strain that favours crawling tempos, cutting tremolo riffs and a raw, unvarnished vocal delivery. Their set adds a stark, abrasive weight to the night, drawing out tension and repetition, then letting it spill into bleak, drawn-out climaxes. The meeting point between Shining’s gravity and Igorrr’s fragmented surge promises a concert that keeps shifting focus, moving from discipline to collapse and back again.
