Jamie McIntyre

Jamie McIntyre brings his folk-rooted, acoustic pop songwriting to Oslo Hackney in London on 13 October 2026. A Galway native, he crafts narrative-led songs with clean melodies and pared-back arrangements, keeping the focus on voice, guitar and place.

Since 2024 he has widened his reach with the single Over Galway Town and a run of key stages: opening for Gavin James in Paris within Three’s City Stages, a slot at Electric Picnic, and supports for Jamie Webster at Dublin’s 3Olympia and Belfast’s Telegraph Building, alongside a collaboration with Imelda May. The momentum carried into 2025 with a first Ireland and UK tour, taking in Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Glasgow, London, Manchester and back home to Galway.

On stage, McIntyre keeps it close and uncluttered, somewhere between contemporary folk and accessible pop. Songs like Melbourne or Outside the City trace everyday stories and small distances, written to land live without excess. This London date offers a clear window into that direct, roots-aware writing, carried by a voice that favours clarity over ornament.
