Good Charlotte - Motel Du Cap EU/UK Tour

Good Charlotte are bringing the Motel Du Cap EU/UK Tour to Amsterdam on 16 November 2026, at AFAS Live. Since 1996 brothers Joel and Benji Madden have built a sound that straddles pop-punk, melodic punk and alternative rock. From their self-titled debut (2000) through The Young and the Hopeless (2002) the band grew with memorable choruses and lyrics about youth, outsiders and family ties under strain. Darker tones followed on The Chronicles of Life and Death (2004) and a more electronic edge on Good Morning Revival (2007), before Cardiology (2010) and a hiatus. Their return produced Youth Authority (2016) and Generation Rx (2018), tackling themes of mental health, pressure and fame. Live, the focus is on energy, melody and vocal harmonies, with a more mature layer added by the recent records.

Yellowcard are on the bill. The Jacksonville band, active since 1997, pairs pop-punk with Sean Mackin’s distinctive violin playing. With Ocean Avenue (2003) Yellowcard established themselves after early releases like One for the Kids; this was followed by Lights and Sounds (2006) and Paper Walls (2007). After a break and restart came When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes (2011), Southern Air (2012), Lift a Sail (2014) and the self-titled album (2016), a farewell in 2017 and a relaunch in 2022. Recent chapters include the EP Childhood Eyes (2023) and Better Days (2025). The current line-up consists of Ryan Key, Sean Mackin, Ryan Mendez and Josh Portman, with a set that highlights their melodic side and that signature violin sound.
