Mari Froes, also known as Mariana Froes, is a singer-songwriter from Goiânia who draws a clear line between contemporary MPB, intimate folk and bedroom pop aesthetics. Revealed in the late 2010s by videos recorded at home, she gradually moved away from covers to assert an original repertoire in which a gentle voice, acoustic guitar and spare arrangements take the lead.
