The Script

The Script bring their Dublin-born pop rock to Cardiff on 17 November 2026 at Cardiff International Arena. Formed by Danny O’Donoghue and Mark Sheehan in the early 2000s and completed by drummer Glen Power, the band shaped a sound where melodic choruses meet soul and R&B-tinged writing. From their self‑titled debut in 2008 through Science & Faith and #3, they built a run of songs built for big rooms, including Hall of Fame with will.i.am. The following records — No Sound Without Silence, Freedom Child and Sunsets & Full Moons — extended that balance between radio polish and reflective ballads, ahead of the 2021 collection Tales from the Script: Greatest Hits.

After Mark Sheehan’s passing in 2023, The Script continue around O’Donoghue and Power, now joined by Benjamin Sargeant and Ben Weaver, and returned in 2024 with Satellites. On stage, the set moves between sing-along choruses and quieter moments, folding the new material into earlier hits from across their catalogue.
