Jimmy Sax

Jimmy Sax presents Toi & Moi, a format refocused on the essential and on intimacy. A saxophonist and composer, he places his instrument at the heart of a set where electronic music intersects with pop, funk and soul. Melodic house, deep house and jazz reminiscences intertwine, carried by catchy themes and wide spaces for improvisation. On stage, he cultivates a direct connection with the audience, works the nuances, stretches or tightens pieces according to the moment, and lets the energy of the live performance guide the course of the concert.

On 28 October 2027 at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg, Jimmy Sax unveils this more pared-down version of his universe. Electronic pulses and acoustic breath respond to one another, with rhythms conceived for dancing and the saxophone in the foreground. The concert is constructed as an ongoing dialogue, where each motif can tip into a more club-oriented groove or slide into a more organic atmosphere. Toi & Moi is an intimate, human-scale gathering, designed for improvisation, exchange and suspended moments.
