On 30 January 2027, SiM brings its hybrid loud rock to Electric Ballroom in London. Formed in Kanagawa in 2004, the quartet — MAH (vocals), SHOW-HATE (guitar), SIN (bass), GODRi (drums) — blends metalcore, nu metal and alternative rock with threads of ska-punk, reggae rock, dub and hip-hop. From the early days of Silence iz Mine and Seeds of Hope through Pandora and The Beautiful People to the recent Playdead, their writing balances dense riffs, syncopated rhythms and a melodic streak. On stage, SiM moves freely from bounce to breakdowns, slotting upstroke grooves between double-kick passages. The Rumbling and Under the Tree, tied to the anime Attack on Titan, now sit alongside long-standing live staples and newer tracks. The set surveys the band’s evolving sound at Electric Ballroom.
