Getdown Services bring their lean mix of post-punk, indie rock and dance-minded energy to Vicar Street in Dublin on 2 December 2026. Rooted in Britain’s independent scene, the project stitches taut, repetitive basslines with dry drum-machine patterns, wiry guitars and synths to shape a stripped-back groove that lands straight on the body. The vocals hover between spoken word and half-sung mantras, sketching everyday scenes, social codes and urban tics with a dry, ironic distance.

On stage, the set plays with repetition and sudden breaks, stretching simple structures into something propulsive and slightly off-kilter. Tracks blur rock grit with electronic pulse, shifting from tight lockstep rhythms to brief jolts and drop-outs without losing the thread. It’s music built for the dancefloor as much as for close listening: clipped hooks, deadpan lines, pressure rising then easing to let the bass speak. For this date, Getdown Services focus on momentum over ornament, turning minimal parts into a concentrated, physical performance.
