At 29, Piche has established himself as a distinctive figure on the French music scene. Behind that name, Mike, his given name, claims a hybrid identity that defies labels: a singer who performs drag, not a drag artist who merely sings. Originally from the south of France, of Algerian and Romani descent, Piche has forged a path at the crossroads of disciplines. Dancer, choreographer, performer, singer and rapper, he treats each medium as a piece of the same puzzle, aiming to give his work a holistic dimension. His instinctive and direct approach leads him to shake up conventions, both on stage and in public spaces. Brought to wide public attention by his appearances on Drag Race France, Piche stands out for his sense of spectacle and his unique universe. In 2023 his debut single, “Confess,” sparked enthusiasm: the track reached one million streams and entered several platform charts. In 2025, as a finalist in the inaugural season of Drag Race France All Stars, he fused camp, pop culture, rap and social engagement.
