"Give me an hour and I'll take care of the rest." On June 6, 2026, Waly Dia returns to Paris with his new solo show, An Hour to Kill, at the Théâtre de la Madeleine. On stage he moves like a fighter in a ring: taut pacing, a keen gaze, controlled provocation, and a genuine mischievousness in the way he seizes the spirit of the times on the fly. He draws on current events and everyday life to deliver dry, precise, often biting punchlines, always on the move. You can also recognise the mechanics familiar from his radio pieces: rapid delivery, quick retorts, and that way of leaving no one unscathed—starting with ourselves.
