Info

CityFolk Festival lands at the RA Centre in Ottawa on September 20, 2026, bringing a broad slice of indie, folk and rock under one banner.

At the top, Third Eye Blind bring razor-edged alt-rock and big choruses, while Iceland's Of Monsters and Men revisit their widescreen folk-pop. Sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone lean into acoustic textures and close harmonies; Alice Cooper rolls out his theatrical take on hard rock; Switchfoot balance guitar punch and reflective writing; Alabama Shakes tap their soul-steeped rock with a taut groove.

The Americana thread runs strong: The Marcus King Band channels southern blues-rock led by high-wire guitar; The White Buffalo delivers narrative folk-rock with a baritone grain; Amigo the Devil twists gothic country into stark confession; Pokey LaFarge blends roots swing with modern songcraft. Newer voices like Jensen McRae and Jobi Riccio keep things intimate and clear-eyed.

For a jolt of speed, Bad Nerves fire sharp power-pop punk and Cardiff's Panic Shack keep it lean and loud. On the acoustic front, Steph Strings pushes percussive fingerstyle, Ashley MacIsaac brings Cape Breton fiddle energy, and Gwenifer Raymond explores dark, driving instrumental folk. Around them, Tennyson King, Sam Drysdale, Ken Presse, Vicki Brittle, The Codas, The New Hires and Montreal's Fine Food Market round out a day built for curious ears.
