JJ « Act II - Into The Unknown Tour »

On 19 September 2026 at WUK in Vienna, JJ opens a new chapter with the Act II – Into The Unknown Tour. Behind the initials is Austrian singer Johannes Pietsch, a countertenor who writes where contemporary pop meets classical phrasing. Born in Vienna in 2001 to Austrian and Filipino parents, he spent much of his childhood in Dubai, a route that feeds his mix of pop instincts, family karaoke culture and formal vocal training.

Spotted in The Voice UK and Starmania, JJ sharpened his technique at the Vienna State Opera’s school and at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. In 2025 he represented Austria at Eurovision with Wasted Love and won. Recent singles Back to Forgetting and Haunting Me paved the way for his 2026 EP Into the Unknown, the backbone of this tour.

On stage, JJ keeps the focus on the voice: tight pop structures, a high countertenor range and clean, melodic lines that slide from intimate phrasing to a more operatic projection without leaving the pop frame. A direct, vocal-led set that threads new tracks from Into the Unknown with earlier songs, in a format built for a room like WUK.
