On 23 February 2027, ADMT brings his plainspoken songwriting to Project House in Leeds. Behind the initials is Adam Taylor, a Doncaster-born musician who moved from the drum kit of his teenage band to a solo path built on voice, guitar and unfiltered lyrics. After a spell working shifts in a bottling plant, he began writing in earnest, first testing his songs at a Sofar Sounds in Camden, then refining them through a run of stripped-back gigs.

A turning point came with “Prison,” co-written with Mikey Gormley, a track shaped by a rough patch and a need to put clear words on it. That moment set the tone: candid, melodic, grounded in everyday detail. Busking across Yorkshire helped him sharpen a set that leans pop-folk but keeps a rhythmic pulse, the reflex of a former drummer. His acoustic take on 50 Cent’s “Best Friend” spread online and opened new doors, while collaborations brushed him up against the UK hip-hop world, including Foreign Beggars.

On stage at Project House, ADMT lines up songs that talk openly about mental health, relationships and the small breaks in the day-to-day. Expect a close-knit live feel, direct hooks and a voice that holds the line between softness and grit, without dressing it up.
