Poliça headline Electric Ballroom in London on 3 September 2026. Formed in Minneapolis in 2011, the group brings together singer and keyboardist Channy Leaneagh, bassist Chris Bierden and drummers Drew Christopherson and Ben Ivascu, with Ryan Olson shaping the sound in the studio. Their music blends synth-pop, alt-R&B and indietronica into tightly built, percussive songs, driven by a twin-drum setup and distinctive processed vocals.

On stage, Poliça work with contrast: clipped rhythms, weighty bass lines and airy synths leave space for layered harmonies and precise grooves. The catalogue draws a clear thread, from Give You the Ghost (2012) and Shulamith (2013) to United Crushers (2016); a detour with Berlin collective Stargaze on Music For the Long Emergency (2018); then When We Stay Alive (2020) and Madness (2022). Dreams Go, announced for 2025, adds another chapter to this trajectory focused on rhythm and texture.

In Camden, the set is built on pulse and atmosphere, with voice, drums and bass locking in as the songs move between tension and release.
