Ibibio Sound Machine are a UK band, an afrofuturist collective blending West African rhythms, electronic textures, disco, post-punk and club influences. They play Future Yard on 10 October 2026 at 6:30 pm.
Formed in London in 2013 around the vocals of British-Nigerian frontwoman Eno Williams and co-founder Max Grunhard, the eight-piece ensemble have released five albums.
They have performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, WOMAD Australia and New Zealand, Wilderness, BBC 6 Music Festival, Green Man and Rock en Seine, supported Coldplay at Wembley Stadium, and appeared on Later... with Jools Holland and in a KEXP live session.
