Militarie Gun plays The Castle & Falcon in Birmingham on Saturday 11 July 2026. Formed in Los Angeles in 2020 by singer and songwriter Ian Shelton as a broader outlet alongside his hardcore roots, the band hones tight, high-impact songs where punk urgency meets a clear melodic line. The early EPs My Life Is Over and the twin volumes All Roads Lead to the Gun set the tone with rough guitars and direct vocals, later compiled in an expanded edition. A 2022 collaboration with Dazy on Pressure Cooker sharpened the hooks, before the debut album Life Under the Gun landed in 2023 on Loma Vista Recordings. On stage, Militarie Gun steers between post-hardcore tension and accessible refrains, keeping everything concise and close to the bone.
