This Will Destroy You

This Will Destroy You bring their instrumental post-rock to DUST in Brighton and Hove on 14 June 2026. Formed in Texas in the mid-2000s by guitarists Jeremy Galindo and Christopher Royal King, the band shapes spacious instrumentals built on patient builds, layered guitars and thick low-end swells. The Young Mountain EP set the template; the self-titled album and Tunnel Blanket deepened the contrast between quiet ambient passages and dense, droning peaks; Another Language leaned into melody and detail; the twin New Others releases refined that approach.

On stage, the group lets each piece stretch and breathe, moving from near-silence to full volume with tight dynamics and a focus on texture. No vocals, just interlocking guitars, bass and drums drawing long arcs. Some tracks have surfaced in films and series, but live the attention stays on the slow release of tension, the way motifs return and gather weight, and the kind of immersive sound that fills the room without rushing.
