Info
Devonté Hynes unveils a premiere of new compositions on 19 June 2026 at the Royal Festival Hall in London. A singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and composer, Hynes moves between pop, experimental and contemporary classical worlds, known for his Blood Orange project and for scores across film and dance. This concert gathers close collaborators to open a focused, ensemble view of his writing.
Tariq Al-Sabir joins as an interdisciplinary artist, composer and music director whose work spans performance, improvisation, sound design and movement, with a practice rooted in cross-genre collaboration.
Adam Tendler brings the piano into the fold. A Grammy-nominated pianist and a long-time advocate of DIY approaches in contemporary classical music, he is a familiar presence on American new music stages.
Cæcilie Trier completes the core lineup as cellist, singer and composer. Classically trained and active across song-based and experimental projects, she bridges instrumental and vocal roles with ease.
Together, they chart a path through Hynes’s palette, moving between song form and chamber textures while giving space to the ensemble’s distinct voices.
