Daniel Caesar

Daniel Caesar brings his blend of contemporary R&B, soul and gospel to The O2, London, on 2 September 2026. The Canadian singer-songwriter, born Ashton Simmonds, shapes intimate songs around supple vocals, close harmonies and understated arrangements where guitar and piano carry the melody. Between neo-soul textures and a discreet pop instinct, his music favours space and nuance over effect.

On stage, Caesar draws from Freudian, Case Study 01 and Never Enough, moving from confessional ballads to slow grooves that stretch and breathe. Reworked harmonies, call-and-response passages and subtle shifts in dynamics replace big gestures. Songs born from collaborations with H.E.R., Kali Uchis, Brandy, Justin Bieber or Tyler, The Creator can appear in the set, while the focus remains on songwriting and the way each track unfolds in real time. A show built around clear arrangements and warm tones, with a band that leaves room for his voice to lead.
