John Muirhead « The Never Ending Tour »

On December 13, 2026 at The Mod Club in Toronto, Michigander — the project of Jason Singer — brings a set that threads indie rock, alternative edges and melodic pop. Raised between Kalamazoo and Midland, Singer first emerged with the singles Nineties and Mexico, then shaped the self-written Midland EP in 2018. He followed with Where Do We Go From Here (2019), Everything Will Be OK Eventually (2022) and It Will Never Be The Same (2023), opening the sound without losing clear, compact songwriting. The self-titled 2025 album extends that path, mixing modern American rock, restrained emotional tension and accessible melodies.

On stage, the solo studio project turns into a full band, tightened by years of touring, from early opening slots to festival stops at Mo Pop, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits, and runs with Manchester Orchestra, Foxing and Andrew McMahon. Guitars carry the melodies, choruses land straight, and the voice stays up front — a direct, unadorned take on contemporary indie rock built for a live room.
