Ólafur Arnalds

Ólafur Arnalds brings Falling Apart Together to Eventim Apollo, London, on 7 October 2026. The Icelandic composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist imagines this live experience as a way to loosen the distance between people, using music to peel back the layers we put up and see what happens when they shift. On stage with a close-knit team of musicians and technicians, he builds an intimate dialogue of piano motifs, string textures and understated electronics, letting contrasts and small details carry the emotion.

The set weaves new material with pieces from re:member and some kind of peace, tracing the path Arnalds has been shaping between neoclassical writing, ambient atmospheres and subtle pop inflections. Falling Apart Together unfolds as a series of attempts—nineteen sketches or moments—where arrangements open and recombine, moving from fragile patterns to fuller swells and back again. Without big declarations, the show leans on space, silence and interplay, inviting the room to listen closely and meet in that shared tension where things feel a little less separate.
