White Denim

White Denim bring their shape-shifting rock to MOTH Club, London, on 8 September 2026. Formed in Austin in 2006, the group first took off as a power trio led by singer-guitarist James Petralli with Steve Terebecki and Josh Block. The line-up has changed over time, but the project keeps a hybrid language where garage jolts meet psychedelic drift, blues grit, soul inflections, jazz-fusion angles, punk edges and progressive turns, with a taste for improvisation and quick structural shifts. Early releases like Workout Holiday, Exposion and Fits set a dense, DIY approach; D and Corsicana Lemonade widened the frame toward classic rock and soul while keeping the exploratory thread. Stiff, Performance and Side Effects were shaped around Radio Milk, the Austin studio founded by Petralli and Terebecki, followed by World as a Waiting Room, the Raze Regal collaboration, and 12. On stage, White Denim stitch concise songs to elastic sections, sudden breaks and instrumentals that wander then snap back, for a set that moves fast without losing the through-line.
