Biohazard hit Scala, London, on 4 August 2026. Born in late‑80s Brooklyn, the band carved a crossover where hardcore collides with thrash metal and hip‑hop, rooted in the grit of their home city. Built around Evan Seinfeld, Billy Graziadei, Bobby Hambel and Danny Schuler, they moved from the New York hardcore circuit toward heavier territory, shaping a sound of thick, down‑picked riffs, stamped‑out rhythms and vocals that switch between a bark and a rap. The self‑titled debut (1990) and Urban Discipline (1992) set the template, followed by State of the World Address (1994) and Mata Leão (1996). Their collaboration with Onyx on the Judgment Night soundtrack underlined the rap connection, and a run of albums through the 2000s to Reborn in Defiance (2012) kept the formula sharp despite line‑up changes and pauses. On stage, Biohazard channel that hybrid NY energy into concise, hard‑edged songs built for movement.
