Beret

Beret brings his Spanish-language pop to O2 Academy Islington in London on 16 November 2026. Born in Seville in 1996, Francisco Javier Álvarez Beret started out in 2013 by sharing home-recorded tracks online. His music sits between contemporary ballad and straightforward pop, built around a clear voice and choruses that stick without overplaying the effect. Live, that translates into intimate verses that rise into melodic hooks, with lyrics that orbit love, doubt and growth.

Early projects Efímero and Vértigo (2015) and Ápices (2016) set the template. A wider audience followed his 2018 move to Warner and Vuelve, a collaboration with Sebastián Yatra. Since then, Prisma (2019) and Resiliencia (2022) have sketched a path that alternates solo cuts and features with Reik, Omar Montes or Estopa, keeping songs short, direct and tuneful. On stage, Beret navigates tender slow-burners and crisper pop tempos, carried by Spanish lyrics and a clean production style. The set leans on well-known singles alongside newer tracks, with a focus on voice, melody and uncluttered arrangements.
