Elles Bailey

Elles Bailey brings her blend of blues rock, Americana and country soul to The Brook in Southampton on 26 November 2026. Born in Bristol, she first cut her teeth in an indie band before steering toward rootsier songwriting, letting a low, gravelly voice and unvarnished grooves shape her sound. Early EPs led to Wildfire in 2017, recorded in Nashville, then Road I Call Home in 2019, threading highway rock, roots ballads and warm soul textures. She followed with Ain’t Nothing But in 2020 and Shining in the Half Light in 2022, produced by Dan Weller, a tighter, more focused chapter. In 2024 came the live set Live at the Fire Station and Beneath the Neon Glow, her first release with Cooking Vinyl.

On stage, Bailey moves easily between slide-tinged blues, organ-soaked soul and dust-coated Americana, fronting a band built for dynamics and storytelling. Along the way she has shared stages with Jools Holland, Van Morrison, Don McLean and Walter Trout, while also hosting on Planet Rock. This date gathers songs from across those records, shaped by years on the road.
