On 14 November 2026 at Nottingham Arena, Nottingham, Squeeze headline with the songwriting engine of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook at the core. The London band helped shape late-70s/early-80s new wave with nimble pop structures, dry wit and vivid scenes from everyday life. On stage, they thread crisp guitars, keyboards and close harmonies through songs that span decades: the nervy snap of Cool for Cats and Take Me I’m Yours, the narrative detail of Up the Junction, the soul-tinged glide of Tempted, and newer cuts that carry the same clean lines and bite. It’s a set built on hooks, stories and tight interplay. Very special guest Billy Bragg opens solo, pairing electric guitar with a clear, front-and-centre voice. Emerging from post-punk, he has since folded folk and Americana into a direct, melodic style, balancing social observation with tender, personal writing. His catalogue runs from Life’s a Riot with Spy vs Spy and Talking with the Taxman about Poetry to recent work, keeping his delivery plain-spoken and close to the bone as he sets the tone for Squeeze’s sharp pop craft.
