Shed Seven return to Newcastle on 28 November 2026 at O2 City Hall Newcastle (Newcastle upon Tyne) with a set anchored in the sharp, melodic guitar lines and straight-ahead hooks that carried them from York’s early-90s circuit to the britpop era. Rick Witter leads with clipped, conversational vocals locked to Tom Gladwin’s bass, while the guitars trace the band’s route from Change Giver and A Maximum High through Let It Ride and Truth Be Told, then back in stride with Instant Pleasures and the more recent A Matter of Time. The set draws a line between new tracks and reworked favourites heard on Liquid Gold, the current line-up adding weight without smoothing the grain. The show leans on what has always defined them: choruses built to be sung back, chiming riffs that cut clean, and tempos that keep everything lean and unfussy. Three decades of songs, delivered with a direct, no-frills edge.
