Grupo Frontera

Grupo Frontera land in London on 2 July 2026 at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Raised between Edinburg, Texas and northern Mexico, the band has carved out its place in the nueva música mexicana with a mix of cumbia swing, norteño textures and slow-burning romance. Formed in 2019 among friends, they first caught fire online with their take on No se va in 2022, then widened the lens through collabs with Fuerza Regida, Yahritza y Su Esencia, Peso Pluma and Bad Bunny on Un x100to.

On stage, expect accordion up front, crisp guitars and rhythms built to move without losing the tenderness of their ballads. The set blends originals with reworks of pop and Latin favorites, tracing the line they’ve drawn between borderland tradition and contemporary hooks. Tracks from their 2023 debut El Comienzo sit alongside newer singles, shaped for singalongs and dancefloor sway. It’s a snapshot of a regional sound going global, carried by close harmonies, steady percussion and melodies that stay in your head long after the last chorus.
