On 16 September 2026, Gaerea bring their masked, modern black metal to The Fleece in Bristol. Formed in Porto in 2016, the collective filters suffocating atmospheres and introspective themes into tracks that swing from blast-fueled violence to lingering, cinematic tension. From the early EP through Unsettling Whispers and Limbo, they’ve shaped a dense and emotional sound where abrasive edges meet clear melodic lines. With Mirage, they pushed rhythmic complexity without losing that melodic pull. On stage, their stark visuals and tight dynamics give the set a narrative flow, building pressure and release in steady waves.
Conjurer step in from the UK to round out the night. Their take on heavy music leans on thick riffing, shifting tempos and an unfiltered energy that locks in with Gaerea’s darker moods. The pairing promises a focused, high-intensity evening, moving between bleak surges and slower, crushing passages, the kind of contrast that makes The Fleece resonate.
