Tide Lines

Tide Lines brings its Highlands-to-Glasgow energy to OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 19 September 2026. Led by singer Robert Robertson with Alasdair Turner, Ross Wilson and Fergus Munro, the quartet folds electric guitars and keys into folk roots with occasional touches of Gaelic. Their debut Dreams We Never Lost in 2017 set a path they’ve kept refining through Eye of the Storm (2020) and An Ocean Full of Islands (2023), albums that linger on memory, travel and the ties of rural communities. On stage, the band moves easily between melodic pop and traditional textures, with direct vocals, steady rhythms and arrangements that keep the focus on the song. Coastal images and small‑town stories flow through the set, carried by clear hooks and harmonies rather than ornament. Tide Lines holds a balance between local culture and contemporary writing, trading big gestures for simple, singable lines and a grounded sound shaped by the Highlands and the city.
