1000mods bring their heavy rock to The Garage in London on 29 November 2026. Formed in 2006 in Chiliomodi, Greece, the quartet carves a sound that blends stoner momentum, psychedelic swerves and a dry desert feel. On stage they stack thick, saturated riffs over a rhythm section that shifts from straight-ahead charge to controlled heaviness, with a melodic, rough-grained voice cutting through. The set draws on long-breath grooves, gradual climbs and lean refrains, with a clear thread to 70s hard rock and the rawer energy of the underground. Across Super Van Vacation (2011), Vultures (2014) and Youth of Dissent (2020), their writing tightened while keeping space for repetition and tension; live, that balance turns into collective impact, rhythmic pull and a playing style that stays focused and physical.
