Peatbog Faeries, from the Isle of Skye, have created a mix of traditional sounds and dance-floor grooves that has reached audiences worldwide. Drawing upon a range of influences from jigs and reels through dance music, jazz, African styles and more, they bring the sound of Scotland to new audiences.
On stage, they set an upbeat atmosphere. The traditional styles that influence the musicians are still heard, and when a drop-down to core melodies sneaks in, the result highlights the heart of their music. The audience becomes part of the experience.
