On 5 November 2026 at SWG3 Glasgow, Carpenter Brut and HEALTH share the stage for a collision of synthwave and industrial noise, two approaches to dark electronics meeting in one night.
Carpenter Brut, French producer and architect of a retro‑futurist sound, condenses 80s action‑horror influences into hard‑edged electronics: serrated synths, tight drum patterns and a cinematic sense of tension. Shaped across the Trilogy EPs then pushed on Leather Teeth and Leather Terror, his live show shifts from studio precision to rock dynamics, with riffs distilled into arpeggios, fast tempos and strobe‑lit intensity.
From Los Angeles, HEALTH come at it from the noise rock side, folding industrial grit and shadowy synths into their minimal frameworks. From the jagged debut of 2007 to the more direct impact of Death Magic and VOL. 4: Slaves of Fear, they’ve refined a language where airy vocals cut through distortion and heavy, physical beats. The DISCO series of collaborations widened that palette toward metal and club culture; on stage it turns into exacting rhythms, dense textures and an eerie, cinematic pull.
Together, the bill moves between razor‑edged synth drama and cathartic industrial grooves, tracing a line from retro synth menace to club‑ready abrasion.
