Embrace

On 20 November 2026 at the Roundhouse in London, Embrace take the stage with a set shaped by three decades of songwriting. Born in West Yorkshire in the early 90s around brothers Danny and Richard McNamara, joined by Steve Firth, Mike Heaton and Mickey Dale, the band came up through the britpop and indie rock wave, blending melodic guitars, keyboards and a taut vocal delivery. Early singles All You Good Good People, Fireworks and One Big Family led to the debut The Good Will Out (1998), followed by Drawn from Memory (2000) and the more introspective If You’ve Never Been (2001). They returned mid-2000s with Out of Nothing, featuring Gravity, then This New Day, before a pause and a later run of records: Embrace (2014), Love Is a Basic Need (2018) and How to Be a Person Like Other People (2022). On stage, that journey feeds a melodic rock sound with space for quieter turns, somewhere between post-britpop, pop rock and the more airy textures embraced in their recent work.
