Info

On 11 May 2026 at Manchester Academy in Manchester, LØLØ brings a set that threads alt-pop, pop rock and a pop‑punk edge. Based between Toronto and Los Angeles, the Canadian singer-songwriter Lauren “LØLØ” Mandel writes from journal pages, pairing candid lines with 2000s‑leaning guitars and punchy melodies. After early singles and alt‑POV covers online, she joined Hopeless Records for the EPs Overkill and Debbie Downer, then pushed the formula on her 2024 debut album Falling for Robots and Wishing I Was One. On stage, this mix turns into compact songs about relationships and vulnerability, streaked with self‑deprecating humor and a live energy shaped by her collaborations, from Maggie Lindemann to Girlfriends.

Ella Red adds an alt‑pop angle grounded in singer‑songwriter craft. Her flexible voice carries direct hooks and a darker imagery, moving between anger, irony and fragility. Tracks like Ball and Chain, We’re All Going to Die, Predator and Funeral sit alongside the more restrained Cupid and Always the Artist, sketching themes of identity, the body, belief and power. Live, the focus stays on the words, the voice and presence, building a clear line to listeners attuned to self‑perception and emancipation.

Toronto’s Dawson Gamble completes the bill.
