Example brings the Hits & Bits Tour 2026 to O2 Academy Bristol on 20 May 2026. London-born Elliot Gleave has built a catalogue at the junction of UK rap, hip house and electronic pop shaped for the dancefloor, switching from spoken verses to sung hooks over productions that lean into eurodance and EDM. Starting with DIY singles and What We Made, he shifted toward a straighter dance format on Won’t Go Quietly, then pushed his club instincts on Playing in the Shadows and The Evolution of Man, teaming with figures from the UK electronic scene such as Sub Focus and Nero. He also linked up with Pet Shop Boys on Thursday. Recent projects broaden the arc again, from Bangers & Ballads to the more rap-centred Some Nights Last for Days and the 2022 album We May Grow Old But We Never Grow Up. On stage, he threads the grit of his MC roots with big-hook songwriting for a set that moves between early cuts and newer material.
