Steve 'N' Seagulls

On 2 March 2027 at Òran Mór in Glasgow, Steve 'N' Seagulls arrive with their unmistakable acoustic take on hard rock and heavy metal. Formed in Finland in 2014, the band reshapes amplified anthems into a palette of bluegrass, country and folk, driven by banjo, accordion, double bass, mandolin, guitar and light percussion. Their rendition of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" revealed a simple, effective formula: preserve the tempo and tension of rock while shifting the sound toward a taut, precise string band.

Since then, Steve 'N' Seagulls has maintained a steady cycle of touring and recording, alternating covers and original songs on Farm Machine (2015), Brothers in Farms (2016), Grainsville (2018) and Another Miracle (2020). On stage, the group tightens its collective playing around lively acoustic arrangements and restrained harmonies, where each instrument finds its place without overstatement. The set moves through the classics with a grounded, direct energy, and serves as a reminder that even the most famous riffs can breathe without amplification, so long as the groove stays clean.
