Two Eras Tour 2026
Featuring two sets of classic Wishbone Ash music covering the Mk.1 and Mk.2 years.

Martin Turner and his band return to the concert stages during 2026 for another evening of classic Wishbone Ash music.

Wishbone Ash was formed by West Country musicians Martin Turner and Steve Upton, who arrived in London in 1969 to embark on their musical journey. Martin Turner envisaged the band’s harmony guitar hallmark and guitarists Ted Turner and Andy Powell were recruited via a Melody Maker advert.

The partnership of the original line-up of Wishbone Ash forged a musical identity that would influence numerous bands. Wishbone Ash’s name became associated with guitar-driven melodic rock music.

As lead vocalist, bassist and founding member, Martin Turner contributed vocals, songwriting, melodic sense and production to the Wishbone Ash sound.

Many decades later, the music of the classic line-ups of Wishbone Ash continues to be performed worldwide through live shows and a legacy of recorded work. Martin performs the band’s works with his current band.

The Two Eras tour will feature two distinct sets of music, representing the Mk.1 and Mk.2 line-ups of Wishbone Ash. The Mk.1 set will focus on music recorded by the original 1969-74 line-up of the band, with tracks from album releases Wishbone Ash, Pilgrimage, Argus and Wishbone Four, while the Mk.2 set will feature material from the period of 1974-80 when Laurie Wisefield replaced original member Ted Turner, as featured on album releases including There’s the Rub, New England and Front Page News.

The show consists of classic tracks, stage favourites and deeper cuts.
