Info
Kim Wilde brings The Singles Tour to Nottingham on 26 March 2027 at Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall. A figurehead of early-80s new wave and synth-pop, she built a sound of sharp keyboards, pop-rock guitars and direct hooks, working in tandem with her brother Ricky on songwriting and production. Across the decade she shifted toward a more radio-friendly pop rock, then into a more mature pop in the 1990s, before returning to the studio in the 2000s with a series of albums that refresh her repertoire while retaining a taste for Eighties textures. On stage, this singles-focused format covers that entire trajectory, from her new wave beginnings to more recent songs, with the energy of a well-rehearsed band and choruses crafted for live performance.
Tiffany is also on the bill. Emerging in the late 1980s with teenage pop that mixed dance-pop, pop rock and ballads, she widened her scope across subsequent albums—from a more introspective singer-songwriter approach to turns toward dance or country—without abandoning her taste for straightforward melodies. On stage she draws from a career spanning decades, mixing emblematic hits and newer material to deliver a pop set driven by a candid vocal and no-nonsense songwriting.
