Info
The Chameleons headline KOKO, London on 23 October 2026. Led by Mark Burgess on vocals and bass, the Manchester-born band brings its guitar-forward post-punk back to the stage: echoing twin guitars, firm basslines and a voice that rides the tension between shadow and melody. The show draws from Script of the Bridge, What Does Anything Mean? Basically and Strange Times, with room for later material shaped by the same sense of space and precision. Live, those interlocking riffs and chiming patterns move between restraint and release, building atmospheres that stay clear and propulsive without losing detail.
Also on the bill, Lol Tolhurst plays the songs of The Cure. Co-founder and longtime drummer-keyboardist of the band, he revisits the early catalogue he helped define, focusing on the minimalist pulse and somber textures of the first records. With a lineup built for clarity and atmosphere, these tracks are approached with fidelity to their stark frameworks, leaving space for new contours to emerge on stage.
