Grace Ives

Grace Ives brings her lean, electronic pop to Village Underground, London, on 16 June 2026. NYC-based songwriter and producer, she works with a stripped setup—dry drum machines, crisp rhythmic patterns and melodic synth lines—crafting compact songs with the voice front and center. Her writing draws as much from 80s pop as from DIY bedroom aesthetics, favoring tight structures, hooky repetition and an intimate, unvarnished delivery.

Since her self-produced debut EP Really Hot (2016), Ives has sharpened a sound that balances bright synth tones with a firm pulse. 2nd (2019) pushed her production into more percussive territory, while Janky Star (2022) opened space for slow-blooming synth ballads alongside sharper electropop cuts and touches of indie pop. On stage, that mix lands with economy: concise tracks, clear vocals riding taut patterns, arrangements that shift just enough to keep the tension alive. A set that traces her evolution without excess—voice-forward, rhythm-driven, and tuned for a room built on low end.
