Good Kid

Toronto indie rock band Good Kid lands at O2 Ritz Manchester on 22 September 2026. Built on bright, interlocking guitars and punchy rhythms, their songs thread J‑rock‑leaning riffs through pop‑punk snap and an indie sense for melody. Frontman Nick Frosst keeps the delivery clear and straight to the point, while the rhythm section drives agile bass lines and tight drums. The lyrics stay close to everyday scenes, friendship, the wobble of early adulthood, and a culture shaped by games, anime and the internet.

After three quick‑fire EPs (Good Kid in 2018, Good Kid 2 in 2020, Good Kid 3 in 2022), the band widened its scope with the 2024 album Can We Hang Out Sometime?, recorded with producer John Congleton. On stage, Good Kid goes for a participative vibe: sharp tempo shifts, call‑and‑response and choruses made to be thrown back at the band. The set leans on speed, clean guitar interplay and upfront bass, sliding between brisk, high‑energy cuts and more spacious tracks without dropping the melodic thread.
