Chance Peña

Chance Peña plays O2 Academy Bristol on 18 May 2026. Raised in East Texas, he writes songs that sit between folk tradition and a contemporary sensibility, with an eye for detail and space. Signed at 17, he cut his teeth early without losing the grain of his voice. Up, Up & Away found its way into the film Five Feet Apart, and his co-write with John Legend, Conversations in the Dark, brought a Grammy nomination that widened his reach without changing his pace.

On stage, Peña keeps things close and uncluttered: finger‑picked guitars, a low glow of electronics, and lyrics that carry the weight. Ever‑Shifting, Continual Blossoming opened a path of warm, organic textures; When I Change My Mind I Don’t Mean It, written in a California cabin, strips the arrangements back to let the stories breathe.
