Scottish blues rock band King King bring their guitar-driven, soul-tinged sound to The 1865, Southampton, on 13 September 2026. Led by singer-guitarist Alan Nimmo and featuring his brother Stevie on guitar, the group blends sturdy riffs, warm Hammond keys and choral touches with melodies built for the stage. From early tracks like Take My Hand and Standing in the Shadows to Reaching for the Light, Exile & Grace and the more recent Maverick, their catalogue moves between slow-burners and punchier tunes with a clear, song-first approach.

On stage, King King favour direct arrangements, big choruses and tight interplay, letting riffs breathe and solos speak without excess. Alan’s rough-edged voice carries the narratives while the rhythm section holds a solid, unfussy groove.
