Låpsley

Låpsley plays KOKO in London on 11 December 2026. The British singer-songwriter and electronic producer, born Holly Lapsley Fletcher, first emerged with home-recorded tracks before shaping a solo project that blends art pop, ambient pop and alternative R&B. Her debut album Long Way Home (2016) set a taste for intimate writing and pared-back arrangements. Through Water (2020) pushed toward more atmospheric textures, then Cautionary Tales of Youth (2023) brought a leaner, club-oriented edge with touches of garage and house.

Since then, the EP A Guilty Heart Can Never Rest (2024) and the album I’m a Hurricane I’m a Woman in Love (2025), released independently, have steered her music toward formats built for a live band without losing that close-up vocal presence. On stage, Låpsley threads minimal electronics with piano-led passages, layered harmonies and bass-forward grooves. The voice remains central, sometimes doubled or pitched as on record, while arrangements open up for live dynamics, drawing lines between her early material and her most recent songs.
