On May 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM in Sala Perriera, Italian pianist Augusto Pirodda, Greek guitarist Giotis Damianidis and Belgian double bassist Peter Jacquemyn will present Another Gap, their first album as a trio. Three leading figures of the Belgian jazz and free-jazz scene, they have an international career and important collaborations (including Gary Peacock, Paul Motian, Akira Sakata and Fred Van Hove).
Another Gap is born from the meeting of three distinct and complementary sonic universes, in a rare and captivating formation: piano, guitar and double bass. A project in which radical improvisation, electronics and occasionally vocal elements intertwine, and where Jacquemyn—also a sculptor and performer—brings a physical and theatrical dimension to the sound.
An adventurous, free and surprising record that opens up new spaces for listening and imagination.
