Hollywood Undead

Hollywood Undead will play on 25 June 2026 at the Garage in Saarbrücken. Founded in 2005 in Los Angeles, the collective has established itself with a blend of rap rock and nu metal that draws on hip-hop, electro and hard rock. A hallmark is the interplay of multiple voices: rapped parts meet melodic singing, accompanied by heavy guitars and forceful choruses. The members’ pseudonyms—J-Dog, Funny Man, Johnny 3 Tears, Charlie Scene and Danny—as well as the masks they long used, also shape the band’s identity.

On stage Hollywood Undead rely on contrasts and seamless transitions: spoken delivery, shouts and hook lines alternate with breakdowns and massive riffs. Their repertoire ranges from Swan Songs (2008) and Desperate Measures (2009) through American Tragedy (2011), Notes from the Underground (2013) and Day of the Dead (2015) to Five (2017), New Empire Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 (2020) and Hotel Kalifornia (2022). The performance concentrates the band’s different facets—between rock attitude, metal energy and songwriting that is clearly rooted in hip-hop.
