Twingo Live Show - MC Solaar

On June 19, 2026 at the Défilé Renault, 53 Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, MC Solaar takes the mic for a live session that spans three decades of rap. A key figure since the ’90s, he established a singular style in which finely wrought writing mingles with grooves steeped in jazz, soul and African influences. From his early steps around Radio Nova and Posse 501 to classics like “Bouge de là” and “Caroline,” he has built a repertoire that speaks to multiple generations.

He went on to release Qui sème le vent récolte le tempo, Prose Combat, Paradisiaque, then Cinquième As, Mach 6 and Chapitre 7, not to mention his bridges to the international scene, from De La Soul to Guru on Jazzmatazz. After Géopoétique, he restarted the engine in 2024 with Triptyque, issued in three parts. On stage, Solaar blends signature tracks and recent material, with a measured flow, a strong sense of imagery and understated arrangements.

A surprise guest will share the stage that evening, to be announced on site. Between classics and new pages, this live performance highlights precise lyricism and enduring grooves, offering a direct encounter with one of the voices that broadened the spectrum of French rap.
