Chantel McGregor

Chantel McGregor is a guitarist and singer-songwriter known for live performances and a sound that blends progressive rock and singer-songwriter influences. She performs at The Flowerpot on 9 October 2026 at 8:00 pm.

At fourteen, major labels discouraged her. She enrolled at Leeds College of Music, achieved a 100% pass mark and a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music, and received the Musician of the Year award.

Early in her career, she performed with Joe Bonamassa on UK tours. Her 2011 debut album, Like No Other, produced by Livingstone Brown (Ed Sheeran, Robin Trower, Shakira), introduced her rock sound. Her follow-up album, Lose Control (2015), continued in a darker tone.

Her single Take the Power was playlisted for five weeks on Planet Rock radio. She has appeared on Sky News, BBC Radio 5 Live, and BBC Radio 4.

During 2020, she released a rock cover of Lady Gaga's Stupid Love and appeared on the tribute album Gumbo Blues for Dr. John, both via Cleopatra Records. She collaborated with David 'Nova' Nowakowski of Scars on 45 on several singles. Her Shed Sessions live streams led to two albums released in August 2021.

In 2023 and 2024, she toured solo and with her band, co-headlining with Elles Bailey and performing at festivals including Maid of Stone. She released her third studio album, The Healing, in May 2025 and debuted new tracks on her UK tour.
